The importance of market moving fundie events

Fundamental market impacting events are an important part of the Foreign Exchange trading environment. Some are more important than others. The summary here, thoughtfully provided by FXDD Forex brokers, shows some of the most impactful. These happen around the start of the month.

They are not the only ones, of course. Equally important are the monthly announcements from other Central Banks, most notably the Federal Reserve in the US and the Bank of England in the UK. You also need to keep an eye on upcoming GDP figures and the stats for house prices and so on.

And sometimes a curly ball can come in. At times of heightened sensitivity for the Euro last year, for example, practically any announcement to do with Greece could cause tremendous volatility, in nearly all currency pairs. That particular volcano is quiet now, at least for the time being.
